Recently we teamed up with leading lifestyle blogger Nathalie, known to her many followers as This Surrey Mummy. Nathalie and her family share their experiences on her blog and other social media: things they do, places they go, stuff they like… and they’ve built up a friendly social media community where mums in Surrey go to chat, get advice and find out what’s happening.
But with two young children, a dog, a cat and the wintry weather outside making everyone’s shoes dirty, the carpets in her house were feeling the strain. Lots of people think carpet cleaning is time-consuming and leaves them soaked for a long time afterwards – and Nathalie was no exception.
It’s tricky to keep little feet of all sorts away from wet floors – so she challenged us to sort out her living room carpet (and sofa), remove those stains, get them fresh-smelling, deep-down clean and most importantly, dry… all inside three hours.

Alvin’s co-star was one of our amazing dirt-busting machines, the Enforcer (yes, it really is called that!) As he explains in the video, when you see the amount of dirt the Enforcer can remove, you understand why professional carpet-cleaning makes such a difference to the way a carpet looks and smells, as well as to the air quality in your home. Getting rid of dirt, debris and the bacteria they can attract makes your home healthier and safer for all the family.
The Enforcer did its usual great job, but there was one stubborn mark still remaining, so our technician tackled it by hand with excellent results. Like all our team, he’s a bit of a perfectionist…
