Rug cleaning Sidcup

When your rugs need refreshing to look cleaner, brighter and more hygienic, you’ve come to the right place at Carpet Bright UK. Our rug cleaning Sidcup specialists are experts at cleaning a wide range of rug styles, fabrics and designs, in single or multiple colours or patterns.

Cleaning from the experts

What makes our rug cleaners in Sidcup stand apart from others is our commitment to cleaning rugs to the very highest of standards, and continually investing in the training of our technicians.

We’ve been smartening up the appearance of rugs in the DA14 and DA15 Sidcup districts and surrounding areas since 1995, and our reputation for providing honest, reliable and trustworthy rug cleaning services has continued to flourish over the years.

What’s more, we’re a family-run cleaning business not part of a large chain or franchise group, so by working independently and not being tied down to a restrictive way of working, we can always put our customers first, providing local, helpful, personalised cleaning using the best rug cleaning equipment on the market.

How we clean your rugs

Whether you have a wool rug that’s covered in pet dander, a Persian rug that’s stained or a viscose rug that smells a bit musty, all of your rugs are in very safe and capable hands with us.

Since one rug can vary significantly from the next one, we offer tailor-made cleaning suited to each rug, its fabric type and its condition. We’ll inspect a rug thoroughly before we clean it, so we can assess its cleaning requirements in detail.

Rugs can be cleaned either at our specialist cleaning facility or we have portable equipment packed inside our vans, which we can use to clean rugs on your premises, if you’d prefer.

However, where we clean your rugs is also dependent on what fabrics they’re made from. Because natural fibre rugs and hand-woven rugs may have special care requirements due to the sensitive and delicate nature of their fabrics, we tend to take these away with us and clean them at our state-of-the-art site. Either way, we always use really effective cleaning methods and market-leading equipment, wherever your rugs are cleaned.

Our on-site cleaning method

If you own rugs made from synthetic materials, we can quickly and conveniently clean these in-situ, completing the process in just a few short hours.

After we’ve inspected each rug and used a commercial grade vacuum cleaner to remove any ingrained dry soil from the rug, we’ll then apply a stain remover if there are any stains in the rug. Next, a rug will be deep cleaned with a powerful steam cleaner that fully cleans, sanitises and deodorises all areas of the rug, extracting as much as 98% of debris during the cleaning process.

Once our rug cleaning Sidcup team is happy your rugs meet our high standards, and they’re clean and dry, your rugs can be safely used right away.

Cleaning rugs off-site

After a rug has been fully inspected and fibre tested to prevent dye transfer from occurring, we’ll then start our meticulous off-site cleaning process at our specialist facility. Our first task is to remove the dry soil and dust from a rug, by gently beating the rug with a rug duster. A rug will then be carefully cleaned by hand in a cleaning pit, with our technician making sure all areas of the rug are scrutinised, including attention given to any spots and spillages.

Once we’re happy all dirt has been removed from a rug, our skilled rug cleaning Sidcup operative will place it in a centrifuge where it will be rinsed at 900 rpm, which enables us to extract around 90% of the water from the rug. A rug will then be left to fully dry in a heat-controlled room, before being given a final inspection and then carefully packaged.

Our rug cleaning is safe, non-toxic and child- and pet-friendly, and we offer competitive rates for all Sidcup clients. Call now to book.
