Rug cleaning Tunbridge Wells

A rug can receive a lot of use, so it stands to reason it will be prone to attracting dirt from footwear, spilled crumbs and other bits of debris, as well as airborne particles and allergens. Over time, a clean rug can look unclean, and it might not serve as the attractive focal point you’d once anticipated it would. All’s not lost, however, because at our rug cleaning Tunbridge Wells business, we can transform your rugs so they look clean and fresh, and can take centre stage again.

Who are we?

Carpet Bright UK is a leading, long-established cleaning business that was set up in 1995 to fill a gap in the market for really good-quality carpet and rug cleaning services.

We’re a family business that’s proudly independent and employs local technicians who are hardworking, reliable, and produce cleaning of the highest calibre. We make sure every member of staff is given in-depth rug cleaning training before starting with us, and we continue to provide on-going training to keep our skills and industry knowledge current.

Our rug cleaners in Tunbridge Wells are famous for using the most up-to-date, modern cleaning systems, which allows us to provide customers with really impressive results for their rugs, with cleaning and drying completed quickly, for your convenience.

Which type of rugs can we clean?

We can completely understand why rugs are so popular. With so many different styles and designs available, there’s something for everyone. What’s more, a rug doesn’t just provide aesthetic benefits, but brings along lots of practical benefits, too. With so much to offer, it makes sense to keep your rugs looking their best at all times – and this is how we can help.

At our rug cleaning Tunbridge Wells company, we’re geared up to clean all different types of rugs. Whether you have a small, cotton rug that looks a bit shabby from heavy footfall, a wool rug that’s full of pet hairs, a viscose rug that’s stained, or a Persian or Oriental style of rug that’s very dusty, we can clean all the different types of rugs, whatever has made them dirty.

Our pre-cleaning inspection

With so many different rugs to choose from, we’re aware that not all rugs can be cleaned in the same way. Natural fibre or hand-woven rugs, for example, can often have very different cleaning requirements compared to synthetic rugs. If the wrong cleaning method is used, or not enough care is given during the cleaning process, this can result in damage to a rug, as well as problems like dye transfer, shrinkage, buckling or discoloration.

That’s why inspecting a rug fully before we clean it is such an important part of our multi-stage cleaning procedure.

Understanding what a rug is made from, and carrying out dye and pH level testing, allows us to decide the best course of cleaning for your rugs, and to prevent problems from occurring.

On-site or off-site cleaning

You can get your rugs cleaned on-site or off-site at Carpet Bright UK, with both options providing really effective cleaning methods and treatments. In general, most synthetic rugs can be cleaned on your premises, using one of our powerful steam cleaning machines. For all other types of rugs that need cleaning off-site, we can arrange to collect them for free, returning them fully cleaned and carefully packaged at the end.

Off-site cleaning involves removing dust from rugs, before they’re hand-cleaned in a special pit. Rugs are then rinsed in a powerful centrifuge that spins at 900 rpm, removing 90% of moisture from the rug. Drying is completed in a heat- and humidity-controlled room, before rugs are given a final, post-cleaning inspection.

Our rug cleaning Tunbridge Wells services are affordable and highly rated by our customers, so you can book with confidence at Carpet Bright UK.
